Patients’ perception of quality of anti-retroviral therapy services in south west Nigeria: a cross sectional study

Background: The World Health Organization reports that 60% of deaths from conditions requiring health care are due to poor quality in low- and medium-income countries. aim this study is assess antiretroviral therapy (ART) services Osun State, Nigeria.Methods: This utilized descriptive cross sectional design. A semi-structured interviewer-administered questionnaire was developed collect data 150 patients receiving ART two facilities providing servicesResults: mean score for perceived providers 29.6 with 98.7% respondents having high the Service Delivery 56.3 97.3% while Facility structure 22.1 79.3% score. Also, 96.7% strongly agreed satisfactory; however only 22.7% time spent staff adequate 62.7% reported Medical Records unit had most delay.
